Arts Instructor - Pottery:

The North Vancouver Recreation & Culture is dedicated to building healthy individuals, families and communities.

NVRC offers a wide range of recreation, social, health and cultural programs and services to residents of all ages and abilities.

You will:

You will prepare and teach pottery lessons to all ages including handbuilding, wheel work, glazing, and other pottery related topics.

YOU HAVE:

Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to effectively teach pottery and sculpture to adults
Ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment with different personalities
Experience in Pottery

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High Five:
Principles of Healthy Child Development certification, Emergency Childcare First Aid or equivalent, and pottery experience. Previous experience teaching is an asset.

Hours of work vary depending on classes.

Hourly Rate:
$ $26.00 per hour, based on education and experience
