DATA AND REPORT ANALYST

Location:
Montreal, QC (hybrid)


SUMMARY

As the Data & Reporting Analyst you will be turning data into actionable and insightful information for our stakeholders which is a key priority.

You will make use of our advanced tools and platforms to present data as information and create analytical solutions that are interactive and easy to understand.

The Data & Reporting Analyst will be focused on analyzing and reporting IT Service Management data, through the definition and implementation of Process Performance KPIs, Quality data analysis & trend data analysis.

Providing key insights to assist the Practice Owners and Service Operations teams in maintaining service delivery quality and identifying Continuous improvement initiatives.

As well as Support Technical implementation of Key performance indicators and Quality metrics. Reporting and Data Base Administration.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing, Documenting, and implementing Process Performance KPIs
  • Provide support to data driven projects and drive automation of reports.
  • Gathering and analyzing data, using advanced statistical models, and support projects relating to data/reporting solutions.
  • Ensure a process of continuous quality improvement through the collection and analysis produce monthly quality metrics reports on process compliance performance of teams and provide feedback to the relevant management teams
  • Communicate to internal stakeholders through discussion, presentations, and writeups of results and meaningful insights gained through data analysis to be used to develop strategic and operational plans.
  • Maintain standard reports, Process performance Metrics, templates, dashboards with insights, and scorecards for Operational teams which are tailored in level of detail for the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Ensure supporting systems are maintained in compliance with the process and data sources standards
  • Development and administration of SharePoint database for the team and Reporting purposes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Computer Science, information systems, Statistics, mathematics or equivalent
  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate required
  • Six Sigma Certification desired
  • 2 3 years of experience in the IT industry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with data/statistical analysis required
  • Prior experience in a similar data analytics/BI/ data science focused position
year's experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Business Objects Software, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft access required
years experience with SharePoint administration Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of ITIL and Service
  • Management practices and procedures
  • Strong data and analytical skills. Must enjoy working with data and bringing structure to complex data reports
