Assistant

Mill Manager located in the community of Randolph. This position reports to the

Mill Manager.

Your days will include:

Managing and developing a High-Performance Team focused on HyLife values
Ensuring HACCP procedures are followed and maintaining certification
Coordinating feed manufacturing process/optimizing assets
Supporting preventative maintenance programs and Maintenance Team
Providing leadership to employee development & training
Ensuring a safe workplace
Leading a continuous improvement environment
Producing a quality product, on time, and to specifications
Assist in performance coaching plans
Liaison between feed mill and other departments in Hylife
Good understanding of Key Performance Indicators
Assisting in budgeting process and meeting targets

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

5 years Feed Mill or manufacturing experience an asset
Good understanding of HACCP program, regulations, and laws pertaining to feed manufacturing
Power engineer certificate an asset
Strong Communication skills
Previous management experience an asset
Valid Class 5 license
