Access to reliable personal transportation is required as some of the possible work sites do not have access to public transportation.

Rotating shift between including weekends and including stat holidays.


Description:


As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner.

You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.


Additional Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Participates in continuing education and training to maintain current knowledge. Demonstrates excellent organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client service and public relations. Maintains professionalism at all times. Performs repetitive duties efficiently and accurately. Phlebotomy and ECG skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of recent phlebotomy in community service environment. 2 years of recent ECG in community service environment.
