Responsibilities for the role include:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic problems using computerized and other test equipment.
Complete a full range of service tasks inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and overhauls, field service / breakdown repairs and a timely and economical manner.
Carry out after hours and field work, in potentially inclement weather is a requirement of the job. Work may be physically demanding, requires high degree of mobility/dexterity.

Qualifications & Skills will include:

Red Seal Certification for Heavy Equipment Technician.
Five years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician. Experience in an equipment dealership will be considered an asset.
Strong work ethic, commitment to efficient work practices ability to work in a team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Commitment to workplace health and safety.
Strong understanding of diagnostic process logical approach to fault determination.
Ability to communicate repair options and provide recommendations to customers.
Good documentation skills inspections, service reports.

Salary:
$37.00-$43.00 per hour
