Why This Role is Important


The Manager of Key Partner Management (KPM), oversees and leverages key partnerships with the Mastercard network, TSYS credit card processor, and other banking platforms.

Through consultation and collaboration with stakeholders across PC Financial, you will ensure that products and services are strategically optimized with our key partners' offerings to maximize financial benefits while managing vendor service delivery through data-driven insights and governance.


What You'll Do:


  • Key Partnership Development: Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive partnership strategy to optimize business outcomes and meet the needs of stakeholders across PC Financial. This includes creating, updating, and documenting processes and governance models to ensure the alignment of strategies and initiatives.
  • Relationship Management: As the main daytoday contact with our key partners, build and maintain strong relationships with them by ensuring effective communication and collaboration. This includes acting as an internal consultant to key stakeholders, ensuring products and services are optimized with vendor offerings, and maximizing financial benefits.
  • Contract Management: Manage the full contract lifecycle for our key partners, including reviewing legal agreements, managing contract changes, and ensuring contract compliance.
  • Financial Planning, Forecast and Analysis: Participate in the creation of annual financial plans for how the key partnerships will integrate with the business, and track expenditure against these plans. This includes completing detailed invoice analysis to identify cost drivers and explain any variance of actual results against plan.
  • DaytoDay Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of key partnerships, by developing and tracking key performance indicators and metrics. This includes analyzing data, generating reports, and identifying areas for improvement or expansion, along with problem solving on issues that arise with key partners.
  • Crossfunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, such as product, marketing, risk, and operations, to ensure alignment and coordination with key partnership initiatives. This includes sharing insights, coordinating joint activities, and leveraging resources to maximize partnership outcomes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with key partnerships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. This includes partnering with Operational Risk Management, Compliance and Security to ensure all riskrelated processes are and monitored for ongoing adherence by delivering monthly & annual reporting, including the Annual Vendor Risk Assessment process.

What You Bring:


  • College or university degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in a Vendor Management, Product Management, or Product Operations domain.
  • Experience managing card issuer associations or other key vendor relationships.
  • Solid understanding of the payments industry, particularly Mastercard and/or TSYS processing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various internal departments and external key partners.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data, spot trends, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, including the ability to analyze invoices, understand identify key cost drivers, synthesize data, and derive insights.
  • A process mindset with expert level attention to detail.
  • The ability to see the big picture but work through the fine details to solve a problem.
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment dealing with ambiguous business challenges.
