    Director of Sales at R.O. Writer The Company Constellation R.O. Writer Inc. (ROW) is a leading automotive software business and an innovative market leader with a long history of success in serving independent and franchised automotive repair shops. Their software helps these shops increase efficiency, predictability, and profits which has allowed ROW to become the trusted partner for over 3,000 businesses across North America. Constellation, together with its subsidiaries, acquires, builds, and manages vertical market software businesses in the United States, Canada and internationally. The Role In this role you will be overseeing a team of BDRs, Account Managers and Solutions Specialists. The product is currently distributed on-premise and development is underway to move it to a SaaS/cloud-based model. The company is putting significant resources into building out the sales team and associated sales infrastructure. This includes increased investment in marketing, the growth of our BDR team, and a renewed focus on sales. Duties/Responsibilities Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team Identify, hire and on-board talent Build, refine, and continuously improve the go-to-market strategies for new logo acquisition and account penetration Collaborate and work closely with the senior executive team to help drive strategic initiatives Be responsible for the overall return on sales spending (hiring, salaries, commission, expense accounts, and event attendance) Oversee and manage all sales messaging and communication for the team Design and implement sales KPIs and performance management plans Success in this role will be driven by meeting sales goals that generate revenue with new and existing customers Qualifications 5+ years of experience leading and growing a high performing sales team Must have software sales experience, ideally within a low-ticket customer base Demonstrated track record of building and implementing effective systems and processes, including the creation of sales playbooks Ability to recruit, develop, retain and support team members in attaining team quota Flexibility to work remotely, travel as needed and maintain engagement across a remote team Location Remote
