We are currently seeking applications for an intermediate Forest Technician or Junior Forester based out of our Prince George office.

This position is available for immediate start. The pay range for this position is $24-$29 per hour.
DWB can offer you a solid foundation grow your forestry career. This position is field based, with a minor office component. You will be working long hours in remote locations, in all weather conditions. We promise, working in the field will provide you with stories to share around many campfires
2 years of experience in forestry or a related field is preferred (experience can include layout, timber cruising, riparian, ecology or silviculture)
~ Experience supervising crews and mentoring junior field staff
~ Willing to work primarily in the field, in camp settings
~ Valid Class 5 driver's license

Supervising field work completed by 2-4 junior technicians and summer students
Ensuring data collection and development is completed to client specific standards and company protocol including:

Riparian assessments and ecological data collection
Preparation of block reports, and assistance with site plans and appraisal data submissions under the supervision of a senior forester
