As a Section Manager in the Collection Management Department, you'll lead a team of around 20 employees who offer advisory services on credit management for clients who have missed payments on one or more products.


You'll take the necessary action to deliver the service offering while fulfilling our mission every day by providing the best support to our clients who need advice and solutions to handle life's ups and downs.

You'll stand out for your leadership, coaching experience and knowledge of the different products.


Your role

  • Lead a team of around 20 people who are responsible for supporting our clients in financial difficulties to help them manage their personal finances.
  • Create a motivating environment for a team experiencing significant transformation and automation.
  • Ensure your team has a high level of expertise on the products offered by our partners to provide highquality service to all stakeholders and an excellent client experience.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with the various stakeholders involved in the team's activities.
  • Keep abreast of technological developments and new work processes that can help improve the team's productivity while reducing operating expenses.
  • Participate in designing and implementing work systems and processes to minimize losses, optimize the team's productivity and greatly improve the client experience.
  • Make recommendations to reduce the risk of losses and increase the Bank's profitability.

Join a team of seven managers and 150 employees who share the same goal—providing our clients with the best support while having a positive impact in their lives.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Collection Management, and your role will be to work with a dynamic and evolving team where the work is stimulating and diverse.


Your work schedule
The Collection Department operates on Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You must be available to work from Monday to Friday and one evening on rotation.

Possibility of working remotely and in hybrid mode


Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience OR master's degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing employees in a transformational context
  • Experience managing operational performance (KPIs, deadlines, quality) and group performance (synergy and teamwork)
  • Collections experience, an asset
  • Excellent ability to manage change
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate, and motivate a team
  • Ability to influence and motivate various stakeholders and partners
  • Knowledge of Personal and Commercial Banking products
  • Indepth knowledge of tools (junior, hostfront, verint), an asset
