Sentrex Wind Services Inc. is a leading service provider to the commercial wind energy industry.
We are based in Quispamsis, New Brunswick area and we work throughout Canada.
We install towers for wind measurement (met towers), we provide remote sensing wind measurement services (SoDAR and LiDAR) and we provide off-grid power supplies for remote sites.
We are currently seeking a technician for field and shop work.The job is suited for a person who cares about doing their work right; has a strong aptitude for troubleshooting, repair, fabrication and assembly; has solid computer skills; can work alone or with a team; is willing and able to travel for extended periods; can prepare detailed field reports; and, enjoys both shop work and working outdoors.

Mandatory:
- Valid driver's license / clean driving abstract / clean drug tests
- Ability to read and write field notes and reports
- Good computer skills
- Some mechanical aptitude and experience with basic tools.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform physical work on a job site on a daily basis, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment and tools, and capable of working outdoors in all seasons and many weather conditions.
- Must enjoy a fast pace and daily change in your task list
- Must honestly care about your workmanship
- Must have discretion, common sense, positive attitude
- Must be willing and able to travel within Canada for extended periods of weeks.
The following will be considered as assets:
- A technology or technician diploma or certification, or some engineering studies at university level.
- Construction, industrial, or tower rigging experience
- Previous experience in the wind energy industry
- Previous training and/or experience in rigging, fall arrest, working at heights
- Troubleshooting low voltage (<24V) DC systems
- Bilingualism (French and English), though not mandatory, would be helpful
- Ability to read assembly drawings and wiring schematics.

$40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
