Job Summary


Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Client & Program Support Worker will provide the necessary support to the Reception House program, staff, and, clients for the smooth operation of the Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP), including administrative and financial tasks, as well as perform other duties as required by the organization and the program manager.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform office duties to assist the staff, clients, and, the RAP program.
  • Assist with daily financial tasks, processing invoices and payroll, and maintaining a digital record of financial documents related to the RAP program and clients.
  • Liaise with community service providers and suppliers regarding client's needs (furniture delivery, date of moving, documentation, etc.)
  • Collect initial client information and open client files.
  • Data entry and database maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate service and client records and program documentation.
  • Assist with written statistical reports and financial data, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications (Education/Experience)

  • Postsecondary education in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluency in oral and written English and French is required. Fluency in Spanish or other languages is an asset.
  • High degree of accuracy in data entry is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities, plan, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, in a multidisciplinary, culturally diverse team.
  • Experience dealing with confidential material and matters.
  • Experience of having worked as a financial admin assistant is a great asset.
