Position Summary:

  • In accordance with established vision, values and strategic directions of Northern Heath, the Payroll Lead is responsible for supporting the payroll function. Prepares or ensures preparation of documentation such as government remittances. Prepares various yearend slips, working papers and government/auditor reports. Performs complex analyses and reconciliations.

Qualifications:


  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation or postsecondary diploma in Business Administration, four (4) years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Ability to organize work.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively under the pressure of deadlines.
