Qualifications:
- Current WHMIS, First Aid and Fall Protection Certificates
- IICRC Designations preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' of progressive construction project management experience
- Experience with Xactimate
- Proven experience handling insurancerelated claims
- Ability to manage project budgets and create and schedule a project.
PM Responsibilities:
- Assess damages and understand requirements to reinstate the building
- Develop, manage and maintain detailed project management work plans, and schedules
- Review contract documents to obtain a clear understanding of deliverables, which will ensure project work will be completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate, chair and participate in various project and site meetings, working collaboratively with the project team
- Develop strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client's goals and objectives
- Prepare and review all construction cost reports and forecasts looking for early warning signs of potential risk and developing effective plans to overcome/mitigate.
- Prepare monthly progress reports consisting of updated budget information and accurate cost to complete
- Review, manage and authorize subtrade and material billings/ payments and ensure accurate cost coding
- Monitor trade progress and project schedule to compare baseline and provide recommendations for improvements when required
- Monitor the change management process, which includes identifying change events, submitting change notices, pricing and tracking change work, optional changes in project scope, and negotiating change orders with clients.
- Track project delays and ensure letters of delay are issued when required.
- Implement and manage site and public safety
- Liaison with clients, subtrades, site supervisors, and suppliers for scheduling, coordination and pricing
- Investigate potential highrisk situations, provide solutions to the best interest of the project and company
- Manage closeout of projects, ensuring completion of all deficiencies and resolution of any outstanding construction or client issues
- Participate in training and developing project coordinators and support staff
Skills:
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Knowledge of GTA and/or Southern Ontario municipality standards
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules while maintaining safety and profitability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and mental agility
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Drive, Xactimate
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Work within the project framework and adhere to all company guidelines and policies
- Demonstrates leadership skills
- Previous Project Manager experience in the construction field is required

Salary:
$75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
