What is Commercial Division?
Commercial Division is The Brick's B2B business unit that focuses on business to business contracts and partnerships across Canada. The division primarily works with builders, trade professionals, self-employed real estate professionals and corporations.


The Role:


This is a B2B hybrid farmer/hunter role that is accountable to bringing in new business opportunities, as well as nurturing existing accounts.

You will spend up to 50% of your time on the road to meet with clients and the other 50% is spent researching, prospecting, quoting, planning, order processing or entertaining clients at our Commercial Showrooms.

The focus market segment of this role will be the builders and trades vertical market.


Expectations:

You will be joining a proactive and high-caliber sales team that focuses on customer experience and providing solutions.

You are expected to deliver against your KPI through sales consultancy to understand the business needs of your prospects / customers, including helping them identify their undiscovered needs from the present state to the future state, to ensure customer satisfaction before, throughout and after the sale.


Responsibilities:


  • Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and onboard net new accounts with a focus on builders and trade vertical market.
  • Enhance relationships with existing accounts to identify and secure future business opportunities.
  • Liaise with Sr. Account Executives with major accounts such as Mattamy Homes, Daniel's etc. and onsite visits as required.
  • Provide quotes in a timely manner to customers and ensure accuracy of details communicated.
  • Provide product specifications and generate project quotes via Salesforce.
  • Arrange for extended warranty, financing, delivery and installation as required on home upgrades.
  • Process and finalize sale on POS, including collecting payment and/or deposit for orders with a later delivery date.
  • Conduct daily open orders review to ensure that full payment is collected for orders with outstanding balance in alignment with upcoming delivery dates.
  • Maintain an updated Salesforce log of your prospects and key accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Business or Marketing with minimum 3 years of B2B outbound consultative sales and customer service experience or minimum 5 years of B2B outbound consultative sales and customer service experience in lieu of postsecondary education.
  • A clear understanding of "true salesmanship" that goes way beyond simply moving products or order taking.
  • Knowledge of Territory Management with the ability to create and execute strategies within assigned territory to deliver against sales targets.
  • Outstanding Time Management skills.
  • Having a "growth mindset and sense of accountability" are an absolute must.
