Position Summary:

The Landscape Horticulturalist-Gardener, will have experience using landscaping tools and equipment and maintaining flower gardens.

Duties will include the planting of trees, shrubs and flowers in the summer and keeping pathways clear of snow and de-iced in the winter.

Maintaining the natural skating rink including removing snow and flooding will also be a responsibility. As a member of the Facilities team, additional duties may be assigned.

The individual must be able to interact with various members of the SJK community including colleagues, parents, students and teachers.

Some work on weekends may be required.

Qualifications and Experience:

A degree or diploma in landscape design, horticulture or minimum of five years experience Ability to work with various landscaping tools and equipment

Experience in a role involving physical labor and ability to meet the physical demands of the job Valid driver's license and cleaning driving record.
