Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant -Operations Support - Kitchener Office


The Operations Support Administrator (OSA) will work within the Investigations division and is responsible for providing administrative services to the investigations division in an effective and efficient manner.


Compensation:
This is a full-time hourly paid position.

Responsibilities:


  • Preparation (typing, editing) of detailed and accurate evidence based reports for an operational management team in a fastpaced and time sensitive environment.
  • Ensure a polished, client ready product that adheres to company and client protocols and guidelines.
  • Editing videos and producing media for surveillance files.
  • Assist with the accounting process on files as required.
  • Assist with preserving and preparing evidence packages.
  • Assist with special projects as requested.
  • Maintain electronic as well as hard copy filing systems.
  • Assist with reception duties including greeting and assisting visitors, answering telephone calls, directing phone calls and responding to inquiries as required.
  • Participate in ongoing staff meetings and trainings for information sharing purposes.
  • Other related duties, as required.
Education, knowledge and experience required

  • Minimum 13 years' experience in an administrative capacity working in a fast paced, corporate environment
  • A postsecondary diploma in Office Administration is an asset
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute
  • Bilingual French Skills would be an asset
