Job Brief:
The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association is seeking a motivated and reliable individual that recognizes, encourages, and builds on our team values.
We are looking for a Childcare and transportation Support Worker to provide childcare in a foster home in the Saskatoon.
Duties include but are not limited to supervision and monitoring of children, prepare, and serve meals or snacks, assist with hygiene needs as required, engage in playtime and planning of activities inside the home and pick up/drop off the kids at the daycareRequirements and skills:
- Childcare Experience
- Patient and nurturing demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organization skills, with an ability to prioritize.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Provide basic housekeeping with some deep cleaning as required.
Education/ Experience:
Minimum 1 year of childcare experience with an educational background in Early Childhood Education; A combination of experience and education may be considered.
Hours of Work(split shift): Monday to Friday 7:30am-10:30am & 5pm-8pm
30hours per week
Compensation:
$18 per hour
