We are currently seeking a Network & Systems Support Coordinator

Full-time contract

Key Skills, Experience and Behaviors required for this position:

  • Computer Science Diploma is preferred
  • An ITIL certification is preferred
  • Database experience including maintaining and completing minor enhancements, particularly with Microsoft SQL, SQL data base
  • Experience backing up systems and ensuring that the backups are rigorously tested
  • Some previous work experience installing and configuring computer networks (LAN), firewalls and systems
  • Solid understanding of virtual servers, particularly Hyper-V
  • Solid understanding of cloud architectures such as SaaS, IaaS, Paas
  • Understanding of patch management, including with software and operating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 is highly preferred.
  • Ability to consult with the relevant team members to understand system requirements and design solutions
  • Maintain existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete
  • Monitor computer networks and systems to identify how performance can be improved
  • Good manual dexterity for moving and setting up computer equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available for emergencies and facility or equipment maintenance
  • Demonstrate efforts to continuously develop and upgrade skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting practices
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
