Fil-Trek Corporation is a leading manufacturer of industrial filtration equipment for customers around the globe. Our products are designed and manufactured at our Cambridge, ON facility.

We are currently looking for an experienced General Labourer to join our team.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform the daytoday tasks for departments throughout the plant, as required.
  • Previous Warehouse, Shipping or Material Handling experience are considered assets.
  • Shotblast experience would be considered an asset.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of departments throughout the plant, as required.
  • Ensure safe working conditions for departments throughout the plant, as required.
  • Experience with various power tools, measuring devices would be considered an asset.
  • Assist with loading shipments, with the capability to handle repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, (ie) lift truck, forklift, etc.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure orders are shipped in their entirety.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes.
  • Previous forklift experience (certification) considered an asset.
  • Wage negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity required.
  • Basic math and mechanical aptitude.
  • Frequently noisy working environment.
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Overtime as required.
