Job summary
We are seeking an experienced AppFolio Corporate Accounting Specialist to help us finalize our accounting setup and then manage ongoing monthly bookkeeping inside AppFolio. This role is ideal for a senior accountant or CPA who has hands on experience using AppFolio for both property level and corporate level accounting and understands how to structure clean, CPA ready books within the platform.Responsibilities
- Review and finalize accounting setup within AppFolio
- Ensure proper configuration for: Property management accountingCorporate / general ledger accountingCredit card transaction tracking and reconciliationEstablish clean, repeatable monthly workflowsAlign reporting to support CPA prepared tax filings
- Monthly bookkeeping for approximately 40 tenantsRent collection accountingManagement fee and admin fee deductionsExpense allocations and reimbursementsOwner distributions and owner receivablesCredit card reconciliation and classificationMonth end close and reportingOngoing coordination to ensure CPA ready financials
