Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of buying experience. Preference will be given to those with experience/exposure to the Automotive aftermarket industry
- Display strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all stakeholders
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Able to work in a fastpaced environment with constantly changing priorities
- Must be detail oriented and disciplined with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Take ownership of assigned suppliers and deliver strong time management and problemsolving skills
- Is a selfmotivated individual who can work well independently and as a part of a team to meet corporate objectives, willing to put in extra time to get the job done.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daytoday purchasing activities including suggested orders, purchase orders, expediting and approving invoices
- Assist the Supply Chain team with purchasing and data entry
- Source a wide variety of parts from local and international vendors
- Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments, and customers
- Work with the Pricing team to maintain and update price files from suppliers
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Monitor shipment status and schedule deliveries with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and the warehouse team
- Hold vendors accountable for ontime delivery of materials, communication of delays, and pricing
- Provide analytics to help maintain inventory levels in consultation with branches, sales reps, and corporate objectives
- Prepare reports as necessary
- Other related duties as required
