Overview:


Sitting within the Nasdaq Investment Intelligence corporate vertical, Nasdaq Data Link sits at the heart of the data economy, serving our global customer base and enabling a range of trading and investment functions, fintech solutions, corporate functions, academic research and innovative 3rd party platforms.

It provides millions of investors and individual users with real-time, historical, alternative and fund data.

Our portfolio of products is extraordinarily diverse, serving nearly every facet and use case in the universe of finance.

To be effective in engaging these diverse target profiles, you will need to learn quickly about the products that we sell, the customer profiles we target and all the ways those products are being deployed by those customers.


About the role:


Regardless of the content being produced, you'll partner with the broader marketing team and contribute on strategy to ensure that everything your team is producing is being launched and promoted via a perfect mix of channels.


Interest in your projects don't end when the final draft is green-lit; you're ensuring the accurate deployment of the work you produce wherever it lives, tracking and reporting on engagement and traction with our target market.


Your key strengths:

  • STORYTELLING WITH DATA. You thrive on digging into quantitative data about companies, brands, and products to come up with great stories to tell.
  • CRITICAL THINKING. You can generate ideas for new content based on our universe of data products and client solutions as well as relevant topics in the news cycle.
  • FAST-PACED and PROLIFIC. We often work on tight deadlines. You are able to produce strong drafts and outlines in addition to providing feedback to contributing writers quickly.
  • WILLINGNESS TO INITIATE AND ENGAGE. You are not shy about sharing ideas, no matter how off the wall, with other members of the marketing, data science, sales or product teams. You are open to, and seek out, feedback and iteration.

Your key deliverables:


  • Overseeing content strategy, assessing which content fits into each buyertype's journey, developing pieces where we have gaps
  • Developing short
  • Producing marketing materials including fact sheets for our data products, videos, white papers, and website copy
  • Editing research papers originating from our data science team
  • Revamping our enewsletter covering the world of datadriven finance, using data driven results to optimize
  • Outsourcing resources as needed, serving as the main liason with partners, writers, researchers where applicable
  • Strategizing and communicating our team's goals to align with the corporate marketing team's content and brand strategy, filling gaps in content needs and ensuring our business is leveraging the resources available to us
  • Telling our story and driving recognition of our team's achievements and milestones to internal stakeholders

Qualifications and skills:


  • Impeccable writing style, perfect grammar, attention to detail
  • Ability to provide clear and concise feedback for writers
  • 3+ years work experience writing and producing content
  • Background in finance, technology, SaaS, or fintech is preferred
  • An independent mindset and ability to execute to completion in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
  • A highlevel of organizational skill, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • A demonstrated understanding of SEO and a philosophy on how it lives hand in hand with good content
  • A willingness to measure what works and what doesn't, and to learn through iteration
  • Ability to work with external teams and convincingly advocate for the work you're doing, ensuring prime position for the content being produced
  • Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or English
  • Experience Required: At least 3 years
