We're currently hiring in Houston, TX, Denver, CO, and Toronto, CA.

Why We Need You:


  • As a Biz Ops & Strategy Analyst, you will work directly with the Manager of Biz Ops & Strategy, VP of Sales & Support, VP of Growth, and Chief Revenue Officer to conduct analyses to generate datadriven decisions that will impact and shape Homebase's business priorities and Sales/GTM strategies.
  • Alongside the Manager of Biz Op & Strategy and relevant Csuite executives, you will play a crucial part in managing business performance of several teams within the Sales & Support Organization
  • Diagnose and pinpoint areas for improvement within the Sales & Support organization (eg. GTM opportunities, customer segmentation, pipeline optimization, call routing, workforce management etc.) as you evaluate the company's business health and performance.
  • Develop sales funnel analytics to inform Sales leaders of incremental improvement opportunities within product lines and customer segments.
  • Build dynamic revenue and cost forecasts to inform the near and longterm business outlook based on sales/support staffing, seasonality, new pricing and packaging, and other business events.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, complex SQL queries, and Looker dashboards.
  • The role will require you to maintain a delicate balance between addressing shortterm highpriority tactical business needs with pioneering longerterm initiatives requiring "bigpicture" thinking.
  • Conduct rigorous analyses of Sales and Customer Support performance across business units and product lines and provide datadriven insights for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Prepare board materials and executivelevel presentations that clearly and succinctly communicate the overall health of Homebase's Sales and Customer Support functions.

Experience and Attributes You Bring:


  • 23 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, or in biz ops & strategy at a highgrowth startup
  • Excellent financial modeling and presentation skills (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides)
  • Experience with SQL, Looker, or other data visualization tools
  • Experience in evaluating and forecasting SaaS Sales and Customer Support is considered an asset.
  • Strong communicator who can effectively convey complex analyses to a broad set of people
  • A structured thinker who is datadriven and has a bias for action
  • Track record of success in working crossfunctionally, identifying and resolving issues independently, and generating results
  • Fundamentally curious and relentless in understanding the "why"
  • Possesses a sense of urgency in line with our value of "No Day Wasted"
  • A lover of local businesses supporting and building great products for them
  • Must be able to work in office Tuesday & Wednesday
