Description

The General Manager will be responsible for running the day to day operations of this facility including but not limited to track repair, switching and car washing.

Must maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance and accountability to internal team members and Customer.
Follow written and verbal directions to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
Read, write, and communicate in English & understand basic math.
Working knowledge of Watco Safety and Operating principles
Lead groups of team members and consistently show a high level of professionalism
Complete all applicable documentation, recordkeeping and daily inventory.
Conduct inspections and trainings.
Participate in safety briefings, job briefings, and any other pass on information from team members, management or customer.
Operate in a manner where SAFETY and ENVIRONMENT are of the highest importance.
Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work outside majority of the time and withstand extreme weather conditions.
Must be able to work with a team, take direction and follow work rules, as well as, take on additional job responsibilities as needed.
Flexibility required; ability to work days, nights, weekends.
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Business degree is preferred but may accept a combination of education and experience
Minimum of 2 years of Operational Leadership
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Driver's License required.
Must have experience in Switching operations and maintenance of way

Materials, Tools, Special Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment Used

Operate a loader for snow removal, impact guns, air tools, man lift to work in load out, be able to operate a vehicle, raise and lower loading arms, wire cutters to cut zip ties, power tools, wrenches.
PPE; FR clothing, vest, hard hat, gloves, steel toed boots, safety glasses, radio

Pay:
$125,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
