Responsibilities:

You will work closely with the marketing team and assist with the following strategic marketing tasks:

  • Help to establish short-term and long-term marketing goals to ensure market share and profitability of our machines and services
  • Spearhead Segway Powersports events and tradeshow strategy, including but not limited to: identifying key events, internal team training for attendees maintaining pre
- and post-show communication, and event attendance

  • Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order
  • Manage all event setup, teardown, and followup processes
  • Overseeing event management and planning from concept to execution including facilitating the creation of event concept to developing a project/event plan, communicating with the Events Committee, ensuring the plan is implemented on time and within budget
  • Coordinate all logístical elements
  • Ensure event concept and print materials are on message
  • Create and coordinate all visual elements and printed materials for the event
  • Coordinate, supervise and train event volunteers as required
  • Help formulate and enforce dealerships campaigns, including event setup, vehicle demo days and evaluate performance and report ROI for each completed event
  • Oversee building out relationships with ATV clubs and associations
  • Discuss website, digital ads, print advertising, radio and TV commercials, billboards, direct mail pieces, instore pointofpurchase merchandising aids, interior, and exterior of dealerships with the marketing team
  • Work with a Marketing agency on marketing campaigns and initiatives, building our online community (social media) and communications
  • Responsible for promotion, product, pricing and positioning
  • Actively manage marketing and communications plan calendar
  • Oversee all communications for media, recalls, new products, B2B and B2C company events, and campaigns
  • Develop marketing and communication strategies to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty
  • Attend pertinent marketing/sales promotion meetings and educational opportunities produced by the manufacturer and dealer associations
  • Research, analyze and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity
  • Help formulate and enforce dealerships campaigns, including event setup, vehicle demo days, and evaluate performance and report ROI for each completed event
  • Oversee building out relationships with ATV clubs and associations

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's in marketing or related discipline
  • 3+ years of related marketing experience, ideally in event marketing
  • Proven experience carrying out event marketing efforts, including trade show planning, attendance, and reporting
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous experience in the dealership industry is an asset
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent relationshipbuilding skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • High level of comfort with social media and online community building
  • Experience planning and implementing special events
  • Experience executing corporate events (100+ people) from beginning to endfrom coordination with various parties to execution
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, customerfocused environment
