Description of the hiring departement:

Data analytics is the critical skill required in order to:

  • Implement the customer's pricing
  • Calculate billing rerates particularly for custom pricing that is unsupported by the billing system
  • Produce custom reports

Responsibilities:


  • Lead cross functional meetings and establish change management/work plans for each client's pricing implementation with strong stakeholder and timeline management
  • Create and submit macros to Center of Excellence for processing including performance of manual testing
  • Management and resolution of error fallout. This may include being on call while macro is running in order to ensure that all timelines are met
  • Schedule and manage multiple follow ups to overcome billing system limitation issues
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve revenue leakage, uncover account errors, reduce adjustments and increase bill accuracy
  • Identification of process gaps and opportunities based on trending analysis
  • Participate in Sales RFP discussions to review client requirements for custom billing and reporting. Interpret business needs and translate & create them into custom client reports to meet contractual obligations
  • Develop new reporting to facilitate business decisions (for example, analysis to support capital business cases)
  • Manipulate complex data and billing parameters for rerate calculations
  • Documenting adjustment rerate for approval
  • Participate in client escalation calls in partnership with sales to review complex pricing reconciliations and negotiate to a positive outcome

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • Excellent time management skills in order to manage multiple projects with varying timelines
  • Ability to manage communication with shifting set of stakeholders
  • Expert knowledge in corporate client billing infrastructure, eReporting & eCare
  • Demonstrated persistence, integrity & attention to detail
  • High analytical skills and ability to work with large and complex technical data sets
  • Problem solve under pressure including developing temporary creative solutions. Diagnose root cause during unscheduled outages which include working with clients and IT directly to bring services back online.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information to nontechnical persons orally and in writing
  • Confidentiality a must based on access to competitive information
  • Strong expertise of MS Office suite and software. Advanced skills in Excel and Access
  • Knowledge in Programming and Web Focus
  • Knowledge of English required: In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
