Responsibilities:

Clinical Education and Mentorship:
- Provide handson instruction and mentorship to diagnostic medical sonography students during their clinical rotations.
- Demonstrate and reinforce best practices in ultrasound techniques, equipment operation, and patient care.
Curriculum Integration:
- Collaborate with educational institutions to align clinical experiences with academic curricula.
- Assist in the development of clinical learning objectives and assessment tools.
Clinical Coordination:
- Coordinate student schedules and assignments within the clinical setting.
- Work closely with the clinical education team to ensure a seamless integration of classroom learning into realworld practice.
Professional Development:
- Stay abreast of advancements in diagnostic medical sonography and healthcare practices.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance personal and team skills.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality.
Communication:
- Foster open communication with students, colleagues, and educational institutions.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, promoting a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Current certification by Sonography Canada
- Minimum of [1 year] of clinical experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- Previous experience in a mentorship or preceptor role is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and professional conduct.
Pay:
$45.00-$55.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required

- Monday to Friday
