THE POSITION
Lead, Inspire, and Develop a finishing team in a manufacturing setting. Operate a top of the line Automated Spray Line. Plan the finishing production schedule, over-see quality control, training, defect diagnostics and perform finishing work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience preferred but not required
Ability to maintain a high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills
Punctual and dependable
Multitasking, prioritizing and problem solving abilities
Able to stand all day and do repetitive tasks
Teamwork skills are a must

RESPONSIBILITIES

Hand Sanding / Prepping
Solid Wood and Wood Veneers
MDF / HDF (Medium and High Density Fiberboard)
Primed / Painted parts
Minor repairs (using wood filler and/or bondo)
Wiping stains
Quality control
Attention to detail
Basic understanding of Sanding/Prepping and Finishing principals
Some computer use (signing in and out of work)
Ensure finishing line, spray booth and all finishing tools are properly maintained
Keep accurate records of procedures
Monitor inventory of supplies and request for replenishment
Be a team player, contribute to a positive team atmosphere
Other duties as assigned
