Target Hiring Range:CAD $16.

Contract Duration:8 weeks, 35 hours per week***

ROLE SUMMARY:
Right To Play is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, self-motived individual who wants to learn about
the not-for-profit space. You will assist the Marketing &Communications Officer and Stewardship & Events
Coordinator in providing MarComms and event planning support for RTP's CNO (Canadian National
Office.)
This will include various duties such as:
Assisting with development and creation of written and
multimedia content for a variety of purposes and channels such as newsletters, donor communications,
website, social media, and support for signature events, including a cycling Gran Fondo, Golf Tournament
and annual Heroes Gala.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibility #1:
Marketing & Communications Assistance (30% of Time):
- Assist with social media posting, content creation and management of platforms and campaigns
- Supporting RTP's efforts to drive awareness of our organization, our mission and acquiring
- supporters and revenue
- Writing original content and supporting the editing of digital content and stories in line with our
- strategies
- Monitoring and reporting on analytics
- Assist with yearend appeal development, visual assets and content creation
Job Responsibility #2:
Stakeholder Engagement and Event Assistance (30% of Time):
- Assist in the development of EMPOWER program microsite and assist with Canadian engagement
- Support the Development & Events Coordinator with the management/engagement of RTP
- Assist with the event production and committee support of the RTP Playmakers Gran Fondo (June)

Job Responsibility #3:
Heroes Gala Event Support (30% of Time):
- Assist with admin and logistics for the Heroes Gala
- Support gala committee admin including the customization of sponsorship decks and creative
- elements for pitching
- Assist with sourcing for event content

WHAT YOU'LL BRING (ESSENTIAL):
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Well organized and able to deliver projects on a deadline
- Creative thinker, adaptable to different types of writing and content creation
- Collaborative and a good listener
- Selfstarter
- Knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Canva, Sharepoint,
- Smugmug)
- Knowledge of social media landscape and platforms
- Willing to jump in, try new things, and have fun
