Job Description:

The Training and Cabin Standards (TCS) team is responsible for the training of the following regulated employee groups: pilots, flight attendants, flight dispatchers, technical operations, and Integrated Operations Center personnel.

In addition, this team ensures regulatory compliance of cabin crew standards in training programs and documents, manuals, announcements, etc.

Translate and adapt texts of various types from English to French and French to English.
Adhere to branding standards and guidelines to ensure a consistent, professional, and customerfriendly tone in all documents.
Review and proofreading of documents produced by the TCS team to ensure linguistic quality (English and French).
Act as a reference for colleagues on issues related to English and French language and terminology.
Responsible for the selection, customization, and postpurchase assessment of inhouse translation tools.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives as required.
Perform any other duties related to training and cabin standards.

Qualifications:

University degree in translation or equivalent.
Minimum of three years of professional translation experience within a corporate or regulatory environment
Aviation background an asset.
Bilingual: Complete fluency in French and English, including excellent writing and editing skills.
Knowledge of the structure and content of both English and French languages, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar, and pronunciation.
Demonstrated strong translation and writing skills (English and French) with acute attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and translation software.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Resultoriented, flexible, and adaptable to everchanging client standards
