Description

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the successful launch of BMS and Battery Packs into mass production for UPS and Storage applications by ensuring the designs meet stringent quality, reliability, performance, and safety requirements.

The chief engineer will also be responsible for providing technical support for Battery related topics to both internal and external customers.

Translate application requirements into battery BMS and pack/rack/system requirements, including electrical, mechanical, thermal, environmental, reliability, and compliance
# Conduct technical design reviews for BMS and Battery Packs
# Support global R&D teams in issue resolution, root cause analysis etc
# Review and develop test plans and procedures, as needed, for BMS and Battery Pack testing
# Support Lines of Business in System Level testing (UPS, Storage) of Battery Packs
# Support quality in root cause analysis and corrective action
# Bachelor's in engineering or science
~Experience with safety, compliance, and regulatory standards (UL, UL, UL, etc.)

D. in engineering or science
Understanding of different types of battery technologies, their performance, and characteristics
Experience in developing battery modules and packs/racks by working with mechanical, thermal, electrical, FW/SW, and testing engineers
Direct experience testing lithium battery cells, modules, and packs/racks
Experience in project planning and tracking
Bilingual in English/Chinese
Ability to travel 15-25% domestic and International
