In the role of Fee Based Operations Admin Support, you will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day operations of Scotia McLeod's broad suite of Fee Based and Managed Assets Programs.

You will also be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Scotia McLeod's internal and external partners and service providers, providing value and support to the business.

All responsibilities are carried out in accordance with Scotiabank Wealth Management's values and guiding principles and in adherence to the Scotiabank Code of Conduct & Privacy principles.


Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Provide comprehensive support to ScotiaMcLeod Advisors and teams by delivering training and guidance on all Fee Based program features, policies, and system processes
  • Proactively enhance the onboarding process for experienced Advisor teams from a feebased system perspective
  • Assist Advisor Teams with support when inputting Fee Schedules to ensure accuracy in PureFees prior to calendar quarterend
  • Contribute to the effective functioning of the Fee Based Program, Products & Services team by building effective working relationships across the team and with various business lines
  • Maintain a high level of client service by facilitating a culture of open and honest communication and actively share knowledge and experience to enhance the development of all team members

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • University degree, college diploma in Business or Finance preferred
  • 2 years' experience within retail operations, particularly in fullservice advisory and/or selfdirected investing
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset
  • A clientfocused mindset, providing a superior client experience for all clients and Advisors
  • Results oriented
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Effective time management and priority management skills
  • Individually motivated and strong relationship building skills
  • Effective communication skills with an ability to clearly communicate, simplify complex issues, creatively problem solve, resourcefully overcome obstacles, and nimbly manage priorities across several initiatives
  • An ability to work under pressure and produce deliverables at high standards
