Administrative Assistant for our New Minas office.

True North Psychological Services provides high quality mental health services to the members of our community. True North Psychological Services currently offers services in Psychiatry, Psychology and Social Work.


Through decades of combined experience our team of psychologists and therapists believe in providing mental health services that treat and address underlying issues over the long term, rather than offering a quick and temporary fix.

  • Ability to learn quickly and effectively use various computer billing and reporting systems
  • Ability to maintain confidential records and information

  • Knowledge and experience of modern office practices that optimize technology and time management
  • Completion of a postsecondary medical administration program would be an asset
  • Previous mental health clinic experience would be preferred
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Military and Veterans Affairs would be considered an asset

Responsibilities:


  • Provide ongoing support for a busy multidisciplinary clinic
  • Scheduling for multiple clinicians
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Processing all billings, including federal and private insurance
  • Collecting fees directly from clients, calling to verify coverage, and following through on any missed payments or billing issues
  • Data entry and filing as required
  • Fielding phone calls and inquires
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy waiting area
  • Other tasks required, as needed

Salary:
$18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
