Your Impact:


At Jacobs, Quality Assurance is crucial to the success of our projects and the strong relationships we have with our clients.

As an experienced Project Quality Assurance Lead, you'll work on specifying the quality requirements during tendering phase and developing and implementing an effective quality assurance plan during implementation phase identifying KPIs, processes, procedures, audit programs and other control measures, through which monitor quality performance of all parties and make them accountable to their contractual obligations with regards to quality.

Based in Toronto, you'll have the chance to use communication and negotiation skills to guide, influence, and convince others, interact internally with Project Delivery Team and multiple departments in corporate offices, and externally with different contractual parties involved in the project, such as Prime Contractor, Technical Advisor, Third-Party Utility companies, municipalities, and any other consultants and subconsultants hired by Owner for successful delivery of the project.

Here's What You'll Need:


  • At least 10 years' experience working in the QA/QC in heavy civil or industrial projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent certified technical training
  • Validate/issue all the project Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) that are identified by the contractor, the Filed QA Services Consultant, or by the Quality team.
  • Monitor and manage the NCRs and provide technical quality decisions with respect to verification, correction, and corrective actions.
  • Good understanding of contracts, including AFP (P3) contracts.
  • ISO 9000 Auditor/Lead Auditor certificate
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • An understanding of local QA/QC codes and standards
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, IRCA/IQA Registered Lead
  • Professional Engineering registration is preferred.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
