Exciting Job Opportunity:
SQF/QC Practitioner for a Leading Food Packaging Printing Company
On behalf of a leading print manufacturing company, we are seeking an experienced SQF/QC Practitioner to join the team.

The company is looking to produce items for the food packaging industry and is currently looking for a qualified professional with 2-3 years of experience in the food industry or packaging industry, along with relevant training.

As the SQF/QC Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) System, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in quality assurance and food safety for our food packaging products.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, review, and maintain the SQF System in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, specifically tailored for our food packaging items.
Lead multiple teams, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions to maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Serve as the Recall Team Leader and Food Security Team Leader, ensuring our food packaging products are protected against any adulteration or tampering concerns.
Provide leadership in developing a strong food safety culture throughout the organization, emphasizing the importance of quality and safety in our printing processes for food packaging.
Review and approve SQF procedures, policies, HACCP, and food safety plans specifically designed for our food packaging materials.
Oversee internal audits and manage customer complaints related to food safety issues for our food packaging products.
Participate in the New Product Development process, providing guidance on food safety requirements for new packaging materials.
Oversee the training of service providers and contractors, ensuring they adhere to food safety standards when dealing with our food packaging materials.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to optimize our printing processes for food packaging materials.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

23 years of experience in the food industry or packaging industry, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of industryspecific requirements.
Educational degree in Food Science, Packaging Engineering, Quality Assurance/Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or Management.
Experience in conducting and participating in audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement, specifically tailored for the food packaging industry.
Familiarity with lab testing procedures to verify product quality and safety of food packaging materials.
Proficiency in quality duties and driving continuous improvement initiatives for printing food packaging products.
Ability to implement Corrective Action items and establish new processes to meet the unique requirements of food packaging printing.
