Rotation/Shifts:


  • Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements:


  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario;
  • Eligible for registration in abdomen plus at least one other specialty with Sonography Canada and/or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Experience in abdomen plus at least one other specialty;
  • Ability to assist in invasive procedures;
  • Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques;
  • Good knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound equipment both mobile and static;
  • Certification in CPR;
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills;
  • Sound judgement and problemsolving abilities;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:


  • MSK experience;
  • Experience with bowel studies;
  • Experience in a hospital environment;
  • Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
