- Full cycle accounting; including preparation of monthly billings, A/R collection, invoice entry, journal entries, ledger reconciliations, cash flow management.
- Assists with completion of weekly, monthly, yearly adjustments, submittals and reports.
- Assists with forecasting, project recoveries and various other reconciliations.
- Understands and monitors adherence to legal contracts.
- Supports Subcontractor Qualifications Coordinator with administration of subcontract documentation.
- Supports payroll and management of timekeeping system as required.
- Provides reports and documents to parent company as required.
- Provides office management support as required.
- You have post-secondary education in Business Administration/Commerce along with one to two years of relevant accounting experience in a construction environment or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- You have the ability to correctly identify financial situations and produce logical solutions to support a project team/business area.
- You demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills as well as a keen willingness to work in an open concept and joint venture environment.
- You demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- You have experience working with a variety of accounting software. Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise One and Textura CPM software is an asset.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
- Must have or have the ability to obtain Secret CISD clearance.
