What You'll Be Doing as a Housekeeping Supervisor:

• Leading the Housekeeping Department to create a team that maintains cleanliness of the hostel so that we provide a presentable, comfortable place to all.
• H iring and training of Housekeeping staff.
• Staff scheduling and submitting payroll information.
• Ordering and maintaining linen, cleaning supplies, and housekeeping equipment.
  
  
• A dministering performance/compensation reviews on time documenting any performance-related incidents.
  
  
• R esolving conflict in the workplace as it arises and maintaining a comfortable and safe work environment.
  
  
• Oversee the cleaning all guestrooms efficiently and effectively to ensure they are ready for the next guest to occupy.
  
  
• Creating cleaning schedules to ensure that all common areas, washrooms, hallways, floors and showers are clean.
  
  

What we look for

• Previous Housekeeping or Customer Service experience
• Supervisor or experience leading a team is an asset, but not requirement - this is a great position to develop supervisory skills. Full training will be provided.
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong Organization and Communication skills
• A passion for making work fun and thrive on efficiency
• First Aid Certificate and WHMIS training an asset, or willingness to get it
