Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Group Manager Operations leads colleagues across multiple geographies.

The GM's primary accountability is to provide leadership to the Team Managers and their respective teams and provide supporting techniques to drive success.

The GM contributes to the strategy process by setting appropriate goals and objectives to align to overall business direction and ensure resources are optimally utilized.


  • In your role as a group manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead, and coach the team on strategies and tactics that align with the Business Strategy
  • Lead and engage remotely to promote a positive colleague experience
  • Support employees in their personal and professional development by utilizing tools and resources available
  • Promote a fair and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce and encourages the team to achieve common goals and objectives; demonstrate the TDBG Leadership Profile
  • Create and foster a cohesive team and promote a positive work environment
  • Leverage and promote available Reward & Recognition programs
  • Maintain strong relationships with peers and partners by sharing best practices, knowledge and leveraging expertise
  • Demonstrate effective change management leadership
  • Adhere to professional practices and standards in order to maximize returns and operational efficiency
  • Maximize productivity by achieving planned operational efficiency goals to ensure service levels are achieved, delivering to our operational KPI's
  • Actively promote TD's image within the community through participation and leadership in community business groups, initiatives, fundraisers, TD sponsored initiatives, community events, etc.

Requirements:


  • Strong familiarity with Home and Auto Claims is an asset
  • 5+ years people leadership experience
