- Work closely with architects and designers to create detailed and accurate technical drawings and specifications for various architectural projects.
- Develop and maintain construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Perform site visits and collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure designs meet construction and safety standards, and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
- Research and implement innovative sustainable design solutions, materials, and technologies to achieve environmental and economic efficiency goals.
- Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Attend project meetings and communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and drafting, with a focus on sustainability and functionality.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp software, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Seattle.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
