Description
RAM is a leader in custom cylinder manufacturers serving OEM accounts across North America. We require a Sales Representative; this position is based at our head office in Yorkton.


Job Requirements
The ideal individual for this position is self-driven and entrepreneurial-minded


Education:
An ability to understand our products is important. Understanding mechanical systems is natural for you (through your background or education).

We will teach you about RAM products (and provide engineering support); however, you must be capable of learning what we do and be comfortable talking at a basic technical level with buyers, engineers, and fluid power specialists.


Experience:
At least 3-5 years of selling experience, particularly for products or services that require technical communications. Selling business to business & to US companies is an asset. Direct experience or knowledge of hydraulic cylinders and fluid power systems is an asset.


Responsibilities
Ø Contacting manufacturers to understand their operations, needs & purchasing strategies to determine fit for RAM products.

Ø Developing strategies for each prospective client as to how RAM can achieve their business.

Ø Successfully and continuously advancing new relationships into quotations and repetitive orders.

Ø Managing and developing solid customer relationships through regular interaction & customer service to achieve long-term sustainable business growth.

Ø Reporting on customer contact & sales progress in the CRM system.

Ø Performing related duties as assigned.

Ø Strong verbal and written communication is mandatory.

Ø Energetic & thrive in interpersonal relationships.


Ø Eager to meet and talk to people, keen to learn, positive, & very effective at obtaining information & delivering messages that advance relationships.

Ø Strong interpersonal & organizational skills.

Ø Ability to work independently while recognizing roles within a team.

Ø Ability to travel without restrictions in Canada or United States by land or air
