We are looking for an Administrative Assistant who will support one of our Physicians who manages a large caseload.About the Role
Reporting directly to the Physician, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office and Physicians schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- File and document organization
- Compiling documents and liaising with lawyers and third parties
- Assist with managing the Physicians schedule and communicating meeting times, dates and attendees
- Communicating with patients to have proper documentation sent to doctors
- Organizing calendars and providing recommendations on scheduling
Requirements:
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Postsecondary education in Business Administration or a relevant field
- 1+ year experience in an Administrative role
- Proven interest or knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Ability to take initiative, anticipate potential challenges and take appropriate action
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Good organizational and time management skills
