We have an approved LMIA and as a result, we are now seeking to hire a worker under a work permit and need someone that meets the requirements for a cook / food supervisor.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Cook or food supervisor. This position is in the food service industry and requires experience in food preparation, handling, and kitchen operations.

you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and delivering high-quality meals to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
• Follow recipes and cooking techniques to prepare meals according to established standards
• Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects when necessary

Salary:
$18.50 per hour

• Cooking: 2 years (preferred)
