Job Summary
As a

Histology Technician for our team located in

Senneville, you will mainly be responsible to prepare tissues for microscopic analysis. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
In this role, primary


responsibilities include:


  • Perform histology activities such as: dissection, decalcification, processing, embedding, cutting, staining, quality control, and immunohistochemistry, histomorphometry, and slides scanning.
  • Prepare necessary material requested by procedures.
  • Operate necessary laboratory equipment.
  • Prepare chemical reagents.

Key Elements
We are looking for the following


minimum qualifications for this role:


  • Collegial Diploma in Science, Biotechnology, or any other related field.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to details.
  • Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.).
  • Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable.

Role Specific Information:


  • Location: Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from the Sainte-AnnedeBellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site.
  • Salary: Starting at $19.50/hrs. Opportunity to start at a higher level with higher salary with specific research experience.
  • Annual bonus based on performance plan.
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, fulltime 37.5hrs per week.

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
