Plan, lead and implement initiatives and continuous improvement of current and new enterprise business systems and applications to optimize operational efficiency and business outcome delivery (i.e. ERP, CRM, E-commerce, WMS, etc.).
Act as a technical lead for strategic projects including ERP upgrades and system migrations.
Lead the business systems team and help the organization maintain a stable and responsive portfolio of enterprise business systems/applications.
Build successful stakeholder relationships by developing a clear understanding of business needs and acting as a trusted advisor.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices.
Work collaboratively with direct reports to support their career progression and help them realize their potential.
Keep track of trends and provide direction on what emerging technologies should be incorporated into the current business systems portfolio.
Support the Director, Technology in implementing organization-wide reporting platforms and related data and system integrations, as needed.
Ensure data integrity, security and compliance within business systems/applications including access controls and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with third-party cloud application providers for operational efficiency and necessary upgrades.
5–7 years of experience in business systems/applications management.
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (Business Central preferred).
Strong technical knowledge of databases (SQL and other languages), integration technologies and software development methodologies.
Solid understanding of business processes and workflows as well as the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Hands-on experience with various reporting platforms and technologies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels, including business users, IT teams and vendors.
Experience leading application developers, analysts or support personnel.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs, priorities and technologies.
Willingness to learn and explore new applications and technologies as required.
Understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies including Office 365 and Azure.
