Job Overview
Delivery specialists are integral to the functioning of Peake and our corporate deliveries.

They are responsible for ensuring the successful completion of corporate and delivery orders, maintaining friendly client-company relations, and keeping Peake's equipment safe and in working order.

Delivery specialists are expected to know and display Peake's Core values.

You will report to the Director of Operations and duties will include catering deliveries & set ups, equipment pick ups, pre-event equipment pack ups & load outs, post-event equipment restocking.

There may be additional opportunities to work staffed events for Peake if you are looking for extra earning opportunities on top of this delivery job.

Major Responsibilities

Attends weekly departmental meetings/briefings
Ensure the efficient and friendly delivery, setup, pick up, and clean up of all delivery services
Daily organizing of the Peake Operations areas at HQ
Ensure the Peake vans are properly stocked and equipped and that the emergency kits are maintained
Assist in the packing of deliveries and event equipment according to the posted schedule and needs
Support the operations management team
Track all equipment used on deliveries and ensure it is picked up and kept to Peake's standards
Interact with customers at dropoff points in a friendly and accommodating manner

Education, skills and qualifications

1+ years previous delivery or similar driving experience with valid drivers license
Proficient in oral communication
First aid level 1 (plus)
Servingitright (plus)

Ongoing expectations and Physical/Mental Demands

This role will require lifting of supplies, equipment, and product. Exposure to normal kitchen and operation area hazards
This position requires long periods of driving in a van in and around the Greater Vancouver Area
Frequent interruptions from team members, environmental noise, and tight deadlines
This position may require basic math skills
This position requires interfacing and communication with clients and customers
