Supply Chain Specialist - Woodbridge, Canada - SR Global Freight Inc.

Description

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate supply
• Analyze data using MRP, Tableau, SAP, and Power BI to identify trends and make informed decisions
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to obtain the best terms and pricing
• Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier performance evaluation
• Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices
• Proficiency in MRP systems, Tableau, SAP, and Power BI
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
