    Travel: Minimal, client visits

    Salary: $89,500 - $153,200, plus health benefits, annual performance bonus, personal allowance days, RRSP matching, overtime (x1.5)

    Experience:
  • Management of projects encompassing budget oversight, timeline coordination, precise billing, on-site implementation, resolution of issues, and the delivery of final outcomes;
  • Guide and enhance the professional growth of Mid-level and Entry-level employees by fostering their technical, soft skills, and commercial acumen;
  • Predominantly office-oriented, yet equipped for conducting wildlife evaluations on-site when required, ensuring safety, technical accuracy, and efficiency;
  • Interpret field data to formulate strategies for ecological management and preventative measures;
  • Articulate environmental insights and findings to clients with clarity and precision;
  • Craft regulatory submissions and facilitate communication between regulatory bodies and clients as needed;
  • Proactively expand business with current clients through exceptional service and the cultivation of dependable partnerships;
  • Initiate and drive business growth strategies through both structured and organic approaches; and
  • Operate autonomously, often beyond regular hours, to adhere to demanding timelines and accommodate client needs.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a similar field;
  • Eligibility (or potential eligibility) for registration as a Professional Biologist in Alberta and/or British Columbia;
  • 10+ years of pertinent professional experience;
  • Commitment to exceeding expectations;
  • An independent initiator, flourishing in a high-pressure team environment;
  • Competent in autonomous work with exceptional communicative proficiency;
