Licensed Property Manager

General Overview
CMC is looking to hire an experienced licensed Condominium Manager


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional and professional management services to a portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties
  • Arrange for and oversee building maintenance and repair projects as authorized by the Condominium Corporation's Board of Directions within a timely manner
  • Conduct site inspections and complete monthly management reports to update the Board of Directors
  • Act as the first point of contact for all projects, emergencies, contracts and contractors within the designated portfolio of properties
  • Prepare the Annual General Meeting of the Corporations, monthly Board Meetings and other meetings as required. This could include creating agendas, chairing the meeting, recording the minutes of the meeting, as well as following up on action items.
  • Prepare and implement an annual Condominium budget and Reserve Fund Study
  • Overseeing financial matters of the assigned portfolio which may include preparing and implementing monthly financial statements, review, analyze and process expenses, and approving invoices.
  • Other duties as may be assigned or required by the General Manager, from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) years' experience in similar role providing Property Management services is preferred.
  • Holds a valid General License with the CMRAO.
  • Experience in the daytoday operations of commercial, retail, industrial and condominium property management.
  • Familiarity with the Ontario Condominium Act, the Landlord Tenant Board and other legislation, statutes and/or regulations as they relate to the position.
  • Solid understanding of the financial management and budget process for a Condominium Corporation
  • Excellent time management skills and a demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and excellent listening skills to work collaboratively with residents, maintenance staff & colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve effectively and use good judgement in all decisions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office platforms such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge and experience working with Property Management software will be considered an asset
  • Energetic, organized, selfmotivated, collaborative, adaptable, and flexible;
  • Capacity to learn easily and ability to work with little supervision;

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $50,000.00 per year


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • WATERLOO, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- property management: 1 year (preferred)
