Medical Billing Associate - Bison Family Medical Clinics Inc - Winnipeg

Responsibilities:

Generate and submit medical claims to Third Party Insurance and MB Health.
Review and follow up on unpaid claims.
Resolve billing discrepancies and denials (Remittances).
Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and payment arrangements.
Maintain accurate records of billing activities.
Stay up to date on changes in medical billing regulations and coding procedures from MB Health.

Requirements:

Proven 2 years' experience working in medical billing.
Proficiency with medical billing software (e.g., Accuro).
Knowledge of medical coding systems (ICD9, CPT).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification in medical billing and coding preferred.
